Project Permissions

Control who can see and do what on the project by assigning roles, and fine-tune access with per-user overrides.

Project Permissions determine what each member can see and do on this project. Access is driven by roles — each role grants a set of permissions per tool — with optional per-user overrides for exceptions.

Manage access

Open Permissions

Go to Administration → Settings → Permissions.

Assign roles

Give each member a project role. The role sets their baseline access across tools.

Add overrides if needed

For a specific person who needs more or less than their role, apply a permission override on the relevant tool.

Troubleshooting

Someone can’t access a tool

Check their role’s permission for that tool, then any overrides. Also confirm the tool is enabled for the project.
