Inspections turn a checklist into a tracked record. Inspections are built from templates — reusable sets of sections and items — so the same quality or safety walk is performed consistently every time, by anyone on the team.
Run an inspection
1
Start from a template
Go to Field Execution → Inspections, click New Inspection, and choose a template. The sections and items load automatically.
2
Score each item
Walk the area and mark each item Pass, Fail, or N/A. Add a comment or photo to any item to document the condition.
3
Create deficiencies from failures
For any failed item, create a Deficiency directly from the inspection. It carries the photo and location and lands in the punch list assigned for correction.
4
Sign and submit
Complete the inspection, sign it if your template requires it, and submit. The finished record is timestamped and distributed to the configured recipients.
Troubleshooting
An item doesn’t apply today
Mark it N/A rather than leaving it blank so the record is complete.
I need a one-off item not in the template
Add an ad-hoc item to this inspection. If you’ll need it every time, update the template instead so future inspections include it.
