Plans & Specs holds the drawing sets and specifications. Drawings are organized into sets, sheets, and revisions with markups; specifications are organized into sets and sections with their own revision history. The goal: the field always works from the current documents.
Manage drawings
1
Open Plans & Specs
Go to Project Record → Plans & Specs.
2
Publish a drawing set
Upload a set; Syntecton processes it into individual sheets by discipline and area.
3
Add revisions
Publish a new revision of a sheet when drawings are reissued. Compare against the prior revision to see what changed.
4
Mark up sheets
Add markups to communicate field conditions, and link sheets to RFIs and submittals.
Specifications
Upload spec sets and break them into sections (by CSI division). Section revisions keep the history, and submittals can reference the governing spec section.
Troubleshooting
A sheet looks out of date
Confirm you’re viewing the current revision — use the revision selector on the sheet.
